Just when everyone thought the new millennium zombie film renaissance was completely fizzled out, along comes Zombieland, whose eclectic synthesis of comedy, brat pack style romance, and pure undead carnage make it superior to not only every American zombie film of the last three years, but every horror comedy released after its most obvious inspiration, Shaun of the Dead.
